Echeveria are succulent plants, able to store water in their leaves and stems. This enables them to survive arid climates and make them fantastic house plants, able to survive long periods between waterings. Echeveria are similar, but not to be confused with, their outdoor 'cousins' Sempervivum (Hens and Chicks).
Partial shade to full sun.
Can allow soil to completely dry between waterings. Water thoroughly and ensure plant does not sit in excess water after irrigation. Fertilize at low rates bimonthly.
These plants are easy care.
Echeverias are safe to pets.
